Brownout

Feb 3, 2010 by

This is what I’m so afraid of. My work at home depends on electricity so no electricity means no income. Not only that, if this occurs during the summer (which is likely because they are already sending out feelers that they will do this) then the heat would be unbearable especially for us living in the top floor of the apartment complex. I know that places in the Visayas region have already been experiencing rotating brownout and I know that sooner it will be our turn but I wish we would never have to experience it. Hah, wishful thinking on my part!

Blogging Career

Feb 2, 2010 by

So I am pulling an all nighter again today doing my transcription. I’m happy that I have this job but sometimes it’s really tiring. Imagine I have to type thousands of words for a couple of hours. What I’m doing is hard work even though I’m just staying at home. Well, they say don’t put all your eggs in one basket so that’s my reason why I’m looking for other opportunities online. So far I think blogging is my other basket. For two years I have been blogging but have been only earning a few dollars here and there but some recent events turned my blogging career around. naks! I’m so happy that I’m earning a little bit more now and there’s possibility of higher earning to come in the future. I definitely like blogging more than my other job. Although it’s hard work updating your blogs and marketing it it doesn’t seem like real work for me because I enjoy it. Blogging is my passion and my first love that’s why I’m so happy blogging is finally loving me back.

Avon

Feb 1, 2010 by

When I found out that my neighbor was an Avon dealer I immediately asked for a brochure. Being a busy work-at-home mom I don’t have time to shop anymore first because I’m almost always at home and second, when I go out I’m always with my husband little kid and that’s the most uncooperative shopping partners you can find. They get tired walking around the mall and waiting for me while I shop. I don’t blame them because I really take a long time to find the things I want.

Avon changes that by bringing their goodies right into my home through their awesome brochures. Flipping through the pages of the Avon brochure is better than window shopping because I get to do it in my home which means no aching feet, no unhappy husband, and no tired son complaining. I can look at it as long as I want giving me ample time to make my decision. I don’t get cheated with my money because the products are at par with those you can find at malls. This is why I love Avon and I will continue to patronize them for years to come.
