Choosing the Right Computer for my Mom
Apr 30As I’ve mentioned hubby has been helping me to pick the write gift for my mom this mother’s day. He’s looking online and has spent many hours looking for a PC fit for my mom’s needs. I’m getting impatient because he’s turning down one PC ad to another. I can’t understand why it’s taking too long for him to make up his mind. This Saturday we would be going to Binan to visit my mom and it’s only a day away. We still have to pick up the PC from the seller and we can’t do that unless he makes up his mind once and for all. Hubby told me he has to be careful when choosing that’s why it’s taking him this long. My mom’s place is a bit hot and there’s no AC unit which every pc needs so that’s why he wants a PC that has a big system memory so it won’t hang. Oh well, that’s his explanation to me and I still can’t understand it till now. Although I’m using one everyday I don’t know a single thing about computers. So I better trust my husband’s choice because he’s the pro.
My Mother's Day Gift for Mom
Apr 30Mother’s day is just a few days away and I’m so glad that I can finally buy my mother a gift. I have been racking my brain for some unique gifts for her and come to the decision that hubby and I will be buying her her own personal computer. My mom is always attending to my aunt’s store that’s why she’s there 24/7. I think the PC would be a great gift for her because she won’t be bored while at the store using it. She has tremendously enjoyed playing games before her previous computer conked out. Good thing hubby is knowledgeable with computers so we are going to buy an affordable replacement but that can meet her needs. I want her to sign up for internet connection as soon as we deliver her the PC so we can start chatting with each other and she can constantly talk to her grandson. I’m sure she would enjoy having internet as much as I do. Who know maybe soon we would be blogging together.
Biking at Quezon Circle
Apr 28It was the first time Z rode a bike like this and oh, how he loved it! Biking at Quezon Circle is a fun activity that I recommend to all the families. Although it’s not exactly cheap – for this kind of bike we paid P60 for an hours’ ride – especially if you have lots of kids the fun and happy memories you’ll have here is priceless. This is the second time we rented a bike at Quezon Circle and each time we had such a wonderful time together. Aside from the road is smooth and ideal for driving bikes it’s also safe here because it’s inside the park. There are no vehicles allowed in the biking lane except for bikes. From the time Z rode this bike until the hour was up he never did stop once – except when I forced him to take a water break. Just look at his face, I’m not exaggerating he really was that happy!
Quezon Memorial Circle
Apr 26We went to Quezon Circle again yesterday. Hubby had to meet his musician friends so they could jam together – a street jam as what they called it. Good thing Quezon Circle is child friendly so Z and I didn’t mind tagging along. Z got crazy trying all the play slides in the park. There must have been more than ten of those – imagine that?! That’s is child heaven, don’t you agree? But after climbing up and down he got tired and his interest shifted to the rented bikes. So off we went to rent him his own bike. For P60 we were able to rent a mini-sidecar that Z drove easily. Me and Bam had no choice but to rent another sidecar so we could follow Z around. Z drove really fast and sometimes causing minor accidents with the other cyclists. We were laughing so hard because Z was like as fast as a bullet and wouldn’t mind other cyclists. He would drive in the middle of the biking lane and the much older kids try to drive past him to no avail. When they finally find an opportunity on the side and try to pass through Z, without so much of a clue, turn slightly causing the other driver to have a near accident. We wanted to say sorry but our stomachs hurt too much from laughing. We tried to warn Z a lot of times because we didn’t want him to hurt especially the ones younger than him. He had near misses but thank God not nothing major happened.
This is the second time we visited Quezon Memorial Circle and just like our first one we tremendously enjoyed our visit. How I wish we live nearby so we can visit it every weekend. Next we’ll try to visit La Mesa Ecopark. I heard it’s wonderful there too and I really want to see it firsthand.
Pregnancy Cravings
Apr 20I was not feeling well over the last few days. I have no appetite to eat and my tummy was feeling strange! I wanted to eat something but I have no idea what it was. When I look at soupy foods I want to gag but I’m not too fond of dry foods either. It really puzzled me because I felt no such thing when I had Z – or I just don’t remember. So I had no idea that I was in the stage of “paglilihi.” My main problem was I can’t tell my hubby to buy me food because I have no clue what I wanted. So I posted a status at my Facebook and my friends, Crislyn and Ruby immediately responded that I should eat mango with alamang. I had consumed almost three kilos of just that the week before and I thought I had to stop it because that was too much already but when they suggested it I had hubby buy me a kilo of that again. As soon as I started eating it that funny thing I was feeling was gone and I was in high spirits again. It felt like I was reunited with a long lost friend really – I was just so satisfied! I’m so glad that I’ve finally discovered what I was craving for.
