New Clothes for Z

It’s about time we bought Z some new clothes. My precious one is really growing up too soon!  His clothes are getting so little so we trooped to Megamall to buy him a new set.  Oh, we spent an hour looking here and there for the right clothes.  I tell you it’s so much easier to shop for girl’s clothes.  Hubby and me were literally looking everywhere for cool boy’s clothes.  The bright side was unlike before when Z would whine when being asked to fit some clothes now he is cooperating so well.  He liked shopping for his own clothes and has some fashion sense at such a young age.  He was always asking if the clothes look good on him.   Pretty soon he’ll be shopping for his own shirts and wouldn’t need our help anymore.  Time really flies!

Busted Capacitor

Hubby’s capacitor got busted and now he’s not playing his favorite online game anymore. I’m so happy but don’t tell him – shh! So now he’s been blogging more and more and I don’t have to remind him anymore to update his blogs. I’m really so happy because we’re sharing the same interest! For the longest time we didn’t have something we both love doing but now it’s different.  Me too I’m learning to adjust with his hobbies.  I’m learning to appreciate the music he loves so much and I’m even accompanying him to his music gigs.  We don’t fight that much anymore and everything is just nice and perfect at home.  Yes, we’re five years married now and we should have adjusted long ago but it doesn’t work that way.  It takes years to get to know a person even if he’s already your husband and it takes longer to adjust.  Whew, I’m so happy we’ve survived the previous storms but I know there will be more in the future and I’m crossing my fingers we would survive it all.

Hmm, now I’m having second thoughts if I have the right title for this post. LOL!

It's My 29th Birthday

Happy Birthday to me! That’s me at 29 years old.  I’m not sad that I’m getting closer to 30, surprisingly!  I’m at peace with my age now.  I don’t know next year, though.  LOL!

Anyway, I made a nice post about myself here for the BC Bloggers’ Party that I’ve organized.  It’s a long post about me and my family.  That’s a warning from me so don’t click if you’re tired of hearing all about me.  hehe

So what’s my wish for my birthday?  Well, I just found out I’m pregnant with my second baby and he/she is going to come out before this year ends so my wish is number one,  a healthy baby and number two, an easy pregnancy and delivery.  I also wish that I can have some income that wouldn’t require that much time.   I’m not sure anymore how I can do my transcription work with me pregnant and pretty soon having a demanding baby so I wish more blogging income and hopefully some passive income too.  That’s it!  Well, wish me luck peeps!

Aquatica at Manila Ocean Park

I’m excited to go to the newly opened Aquatica at Manila Ocean Park. I was invited to go here by my friend Pehpot and I can’t wait to go out of the house. I really have no idea what I will see her except that we would have to wear a raincoat (which they will provide at the place) to avoid getting wet. So I’m imagining it would of course involve a lot of splashing water! The sad thing is it’s so far away – near SM MOA! I’m sure we would be stuck in traffic going to and fro.

Clean Your AC Unit in Preparation for Summer

Apr 9, 2010 by

Summer is definitely here and boy, it’s so hot really! After a couple of months to not using our airconditioning unit we now have no choice but to use it every afternoon and every night. I’m already dreading how much our electricity bill is going to be because of this constant use. Good thing, hubby decided to clean our AC unit. Cleaning it will ensure that it will run more efficiently and thus saving us some money.
When hubby opened our Carrier airconditioning unit he was greeted with a lot of dirt! Just look at the filter – that’s a year’s worth of accumulated dirt.

Photobucket

Using a small broom he brushed the dirt away but that was not enough to remove it all so he went to the sink and brushed it with soap and water. Now look at the same filter – it’s now squeaky clean!

Next he wiped the exterior with damp cloth.

Put everything back in place.

And voila, we our AC unit almost looks like new again.

Hugs to hubby for a job well done!
