Grocery Shopping

Grocery shopping in our family is once a month.  We do our grocery shopping every first week of the month.  It’s a family affair I tell you.  Daddy, Z, and I look forward to this once a month event. hihi  We have our own favorites.  Daddy must have his supply of juice – Tang and Minute Maid and Z must have his fill of chocolate – Chuckie and his favorite cereals.  Me – nah, forget it.  I’m a junk food addict but I’m trying to change. hehe  Anyway, after we fill our grocery cart with our favorites we line up at the cashier.  We always have the fullest grocery cart I tell you.  It’s like we have our own sari-sari store but no, all that food is just for our family’s consumption.  We wait for our turn for the cashier to scan our items with a Symbol LS2208 barcode scanner. The guessing game for how much our bill is going to be is the hardest part but after three years of grocery shopping I pretty much have a good guess of  how much our actual bill is going to be but every once in a while I still get surprised at how much we consume.
