BC Bloggers 4 is Ongoing
Jul 28Applications for BC Bloggers 4 is going on. As of today, a total of 88 blogs have applied. We still have until August 12 before the application will be closed. The application period is shorter now as compared to last month. We got too many participants last month and it became harder to check them. Now I’m hoping that this time we’ll be able to gather just enough participants – enough number of blogs so that the linking would be effective but not too many that it’s hard to check anymore.
Thank you for those who have signed up. Because of your post the news is spreading to other bloggers and we are able to gather more participants.
Business Credit Reports
Jul 28My FIL works in a bank and has worked there for more than 20 years. I admire him because holding the same job for more than 20 years is surely a feat. He does business credit reports for the bank he works at. His duty is to do a background check on the different businesses that are applying to get a loan from the bank he’s working at. It’s his job to interview the owner and check their credit standing. After that, he will have to write a report to his boss endorsing the company or not. His job is really crucial because if he makes a mistake and endorses a client that doesn’t pay the loan then the bank loses money.
In a few years my FIL is going to retire. He looks forward to his retirement which he really deserves. I’m sure he’s going to spend his retirement days with his four grandsons and enjoy the rest of his years living a carefree life.

So what do you need to do? Just follow these simple steps and you’re in.
1. The success of BC Bloggers depend on the number of people joining. So please spread the word about BC Bloggers 4 and invite other bloggers to join.
2. Put the BC Bloggers badge in your sidebar. You can find the code below.
3. Make a page dedicated to BC Bloggers where you intend to post the links. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the navigation bar or at the sidebar as long as it is linked in the homepage. Check my navigation bar as an example, particularly the one with the title, BC Bloggers links.
4. Once you have done steps 1, 2, and 3 fill out the Application Form. One blog for each form. If you have another blog to add then fill out a new form and submit. Please be careful when putting your blog url especially in HTML format. Deadline of application is on August 12.
Of course, it does not end there. After we have gain enough members for this batch I will email you a link of all the links that you will need to put in your blog. That is why it’s important to give a valid email in the application form. You will have to put the links in the BC Bloggers page you have submitted when you filled out the form. This is the most important step of all.

The Price is Right is Our Favorite Game Show
Jul 21The Price is Right has always been one of my favorite game shows. When I was a kid, I watched it with my grandfather. We ate Moon Pies and bologna sandwiches. He drank Diet Rite and I always sipped chocolate milk. As a teenager, I watched the show with my overzealous father. Now that i get DirectTV offers I view it on our DirecTv satellite with my four-year-old son.
I loved the show with its old host, Bob Barker. His white head and slim microphone made him some sort of TV icon. I still enjoy the show, even without Bob. My son gets all excited when he hears the theme song. He dances in front of the TV and says, ‘Come on Dooooowwwwn!’
Over the years, I’ve gotten pretty good at guessing the prices of the items on the show. My son guesses, but always gets it wrong, of course. The big wheel is our favorite segment. My son loves numbers and calls them out as the wheel spins. I think the show is a fun way to spend time with my child. I would recommend it to anyone.
