Eczema is Gone

We have been looking for some eczema treatments ever since we suspected my husband has one. For some reason, his skin gets so itchy and when I try to scratch it it ends up with patches of red, blotchy skin. We were about to go to a doctor when suddenly his itching suddenly vanished. I started noticing the positive change ever since we went back to his childhood home. I guess what he had was just some form of allergy. Maybe he was allergic to the water in our previous apartment or there’s something there that he’s allergic of. I’m just glad that he’s okay now and he’s feeling much better.

Insomnia

Lately, I have been having some problems sleeping. I normally have no problem at all getting a good night’s rest. My hubby is even envious that I sleep like a log. I thought insomnia is something I will have worry about till I get old. Well, that all changed a month ago when for some reason I don’t know my body clock changed. Try as I might, I couldn’t get myself to fall asleep at night. Sometimes I even lie on the bed for as long as two hours waiting for sleep to come but to no avail. I wait there as long as I could until I can’t take it any longer. At that point, I have no choice but to jump out of bed and make myself productive until the wee hours of the morning.

Anyway, I heard l-dopa promotes good sleep so I am going to research if I can take that. If not then I have no choice but to count more sheep.

Document Management

My hubby doesn’t want to throw away anything. He doesn’t want to throw away receipts, electric bills, scraps of papers, documents from work, etc. I, on the other hand, want to throw away everything. I lack organizational skills so it will serve me better if we throw everything away. However, I have to obey my husband because of course, he is the boss. Good thing I stumbled upon a document management that helps people like me manage our documents easier. Now I don’t have a problem anymore. When he asks me to file something away I just get my document organizer and file it away.

Songwriting Camp

Tomorrow is a big day for my hubby.  We are going to know the result of his audition.  It’s not only once that he mentioned that he really feels nervous.  I chuckle everytime he says it because I’m not used to him saying things like that.  Usually, he takes everything in a stride and he doesn’t feel nervous that much.  This just means this audition is really very important to him.  If he gets accepted he’ll be in a four day songwriting camp, rubbing elbows with the Philippine music greats.  I have seen the list of speakers in the songwriting camp and even I was impressed.  Normally, he gets excited over musicians I haven’t even heard of but this time I know most of the speakers in the list.

I really pray hubby gets accepted.  He told me it’s my duty to look for his name at the website tomorrow because he can’t bear himself to take a peak. Now, even I am getting nervous.  Z and me prayed already thrice today for a positive result.

College application conundrum

I promised my mom that when I went away to college I’d still help my little brother apply for colleges. I totally took the task on myself last year and my mom has no idea how to navigate all the online college applications. So I’m finding out a lot of information for my brother about all of this.

I’m constantly sending him links to online applications through my satellite wireless internet so he can get ahead of the game. I already told him that he needs to start writing essays and am encouraging him to get started on them ASAP before he really needs to start studying for classes this semester.

He even found that for a few schools he can use the same essays over again so it’s less work in the end, after all. That essay’s topic is about his favorite painting ever and he chose to write about one that our grandma painted of her childhood home, a farmhouse out in the country.

I’m helping him edit it and I think that it’s going to be great!
