Get an Estimate on Your Next Car Repair

We have been driving our car – or my hubby is – for two years now. The Mazda 323 we have is a gift from Dad and is pre-owned. We like the fact that we paid no money to have it but we are not so happy with the repair costs that come along with having a second hand car.

This year alone, hubby has already gone to the repair shop a couple of times. The problem varies from broken door lock, misaligned wheels, stereo that refused to turn on, and even the air conditioning that doesn’t cool. During times like these the hubby will come home frustrated and almost wanting to give up having a car. He would often go to repair shops not knowing how much he is going to spend for repairs. That alone could drive anyone nuts, don’t you think?

My husband’s car is again due for another tune up this month plus some other minor repairs. This time around I would recommend that he check out a car repair estimate site first. This would give him an idea how much he is going to spend on his next visit. This way, he’ll know about how much the standard cost for such repairs and he can immediately spot an irregularity in a price if needed.
