Nervous about Building our First House

As the months get closer and closer to the time we’ll be finally rebuilding our home we get more and more nervous. It is because of the fact that this is the first time we’re going to build one. Aside from that it’s not unusual for the cost of building a house to spiral out of control and we’re afraid we’ll get into a deep debt in exchange for this. I have heard of manufactured homes that cost less but we don’t have those in our place so we don’t have a choice but go the traditional route.

Nobody wants to be in debt but on the other hand, everyone wants to have his own house. I guess we just have to be thankful that part of the cost will be shouldered by a kind benefactor and that we’ll get a lot of help on the way. Some friends say that their own parent’s houses were years in the making. Even though we don’t have enough budget for our dream home now we can just add little by little as the years come.
