Kaye's Random WAHM Thoughts
Feb 20If you noticed a beautifully designed template with a woman in it then chances are you have landed on Kaye’s blog or one of her very own designs. I can only dream of making beautiful templates like her that’s why I’m in awe with her talent. She can write so well too and it’s obvious with her no-nonsense, brutally honest blog entries. Reading more I found out that she’s also a WAHM like me. It made me remember the time when I also dreamed of becoming one and I didn’t know anyone else here in our country who is a work-at-home mom. So naturally, I was delighted by our connection. We were both WAHMs leaving in the same country albeit miles away from each other. I found out that the primary reason she wanted to become one was because she can’t bear the thought of leaving her son. That was also my main reason when I stopped working although I did it months after Z was born. She was braver though because she quit her job a few months before giving birth. I also agree with her 100% that working at home is not easier. The work that we do is real work like people do in their office and it’s a myth if you say we have it easy.
Mom Conversations – Definitely for Moms
Feb 17Love at first sight, that’s my first thought when I first saw Mom Conversations. It’s because I so love its template. I first saw that a few months ago and tried to install it as a template for my blog, unfortunately, I had a few problems so I just abandoned the idea. So I like Mom Conversations right away because we have the same taste. hehe The word Bueno in large letters should be removed though. I know it’s part of the template but people are mistaking it for the blog’s title.
Reading on I found out that this blog is a great resource for moms. I wish I read the entry on how to prevent stretch marks when I got pregnant with Z. Her post on Toddler’s Temper and Tantrum is also a big help in dealing even with my five year old.
Mom Conversations is still a new blog and there are only a few posts. I’m sure it will still be better if the author add more helpful posts for moms like you and me.
