Rest Day
Aug 13Weekend is near and one more day before hubby’s rest day. I hope he can really take a rest during his two-day break. On Sunday, we’re going to church as usual. Then in the afternoon I think we’re going to spend time with my MIL. On Monday, we will have dinner at Max’s in Makati. We don’t have plans to go to far places this weekend. I want my hubby to get all the rest that he needs. I hope I can give him a full body massage. That’s his favorite thing in the world!
When Is Our Wedding Anniversary?
Aug 06My hubby and I have been married for five years but not once did we celebrate our wedding anniversary. The truth is if you ask us we don’t know when we were married.
How did that happen? Well, we were married in a civil ceremony last February 14th, 2005. Unfortunately, the papers weren’t filed that day because we forgot one required document. So now it says in our marriage certificate that we were married on March 28, 2005 which is more than a month after the ceremony took place. LOL!
So that’s why we’re confused. We can’t celebrate our wedding anniversary on the 14th because that’s also Valentine’s Day and we were not yet legally married that day. The actual date, which is March 28th, we can’t recall because it was just stamped on our marriage certificate.
Anyway, I vow that this year would be the last year we will not celebrate our marriage. We won’t be celebrating it on the 14th because that’s already Valentine’s day but we will celebrate on the 28th instead. I will keep on repeating our important date to my husband so he will never ever forget! If I have to post it on our wall for us to remember, I will. hahaha We have lasted this long so it’s worth remembering this important occasion that bound us together for better or for worse, till death do us part.
Our Tickets for the John Mayer Concert

We have our tickets! We have nice seats about 9th row from the front. This is the first time we’re going to a concert and I’m so excited. Of course, hubby is more excited than I am since he’s the music fan. Me, I’m just going to be there for my hubby.

Valentine's Date
Feb 15The day after Valentine was too busy for me. I woke up at 5 am and started working furiously. I need to finish my work so we can go on our Valentine’s date tonight. My hubby is going to attend a gig at a bar tonight and I will come along. I would order their yummy sisig and probably get drunk after. Who knows what will happen after that? Maybe I can also convince my hubby to drink a little alcohol (he doesn’t drink alcohol).
After hours and hours of working I’m finally done. I couldn’t say the same thing with hubby because he’s still frantically rehearsing his piece. I’ll just iron my hair and make myself pretty while I wait. I’m sure this is going to be one romantic night. Wish me luck!
