So where am I taking my husband this Valentine? Presenting, the Myth of the Human Body Exhibit!

I thought the till death do us part was enough a promise for our marriage but it turns out I have to promise more to make sure that we do make it till the end. Anyway, I’m glad we have survived the worst part of our marriage and we’re doing well now but we can still do something to make our marriage better. Well, I won’t speak for my husband but here are MY promises to him:
1. I promise I will manage my time wisely and use it for people and things that do matter.
2. I promise I will take care of our two children to the best of my abilities.
3. I promise I will support all his goals and ambitions.
4. I promise I will worry less and trust more.
5. I promise to be more loving and more attentive to him.
I am one of those who believed in happy endings. However, in real life not all people have happy endings. Such was the case with my friend. When her relationship with her spouse turned sour that’s when she looked toward the possibility of a divorce. She knew that when a couple fight more often than they make up ending the marriage is the best for their child. However, she was scared of the whole divorce process and did not know what to do first. She thought it was a very lengthy process and that could take years to be resolved. Questions such as what were her rights, what support can she get from her spouse, and how much would the process cost her were in her mind.
Good thing another friend recommended Gillespie, Shields & Durrant to her. She was told that she will be in good hands with their lawyers and truly she was. She met with their attorneys in Phoenix and they immediately briefed her in about their company and about the possibilities with her case.
In this painful situation such as the breaking down of a marriage a divorce lawyer can help the couple, not just with the legal proceedings but to sort everything out and get them back on their feet. Divorce can be messy but if they have a good divorce lawyer on their side at least they can be ensured that they get what is due to them.
I don’t usually give my husband gifts throughout the year except during New Year. His birthday falls on January 1st so that’s already three reasons to celebrate. My gift would serve as his Christmas, New Year, and birthday gift! I know what hubby wants – he wants stuff related to music but I think he won’t forgive me if I’m the one who will choose it for him so I’m looking online for an affordable laptop instead. He just bought himself a desktop this year but he’s not using it anymore. I found this discounted but brand new Apple Macbook Pro at buy.com and I’ve been thinking of buying this. It doesn’t ship to international locations but good thing my brother is coming home this December and he can just hand carry it for me just in time for hubby’s birthday.
My husband and I have different wishes. I know he’s wishing to quit his day job and become a successful musician. Me, I just want to be a millionaire, earn passive income that would support a comfortable lifestyle, and just enjoy life ahead. Yes, I know it’s really wishful thinking but that’s what we’re wishing! hahaha
Seriously, aside from our crazy dreams we wish to have a happy and healthy family. We wish to be able to raise our kids well. We wish we’ll stay together for the rest of our lives. We wish we don’t get struck with diseases and be healthy throughout our lives. We wish our kids will have comfortable lives. We wish our kids will find God-fearing wives. We wish they’ll love us and remember to visit us even when we’re already old. We wish we’ll die together and not leave the other one behind. Okay, I got to stop wishing now. I’m getting more and more morbid. haha!
Hubby is going away for five days. I know he is excited and can’t wait to ride an airplane for the first time. I also know that at the same time he is worried. He is worried on how he’s going to sleep without me by his side during the five nights that he’s away. hehe I know him fully well to know that he needs some massage to be able to go to sleep at night. Well, I guess that’s one of the things he would miss without me by his side. I’ll just suggest he bring an electric blanket instead to help him sleep through the cold nights. That’s what he gets for not taking me along with him. hehe
