When I was in college I took up Biology as a major. I loved the subject in high school so it was just natural that I took it up in college. I also had a dream of becoming a doctor then and biology was the perfect pre-medicine course.

What I liked about college the most, aside from my inspiring teachers of course, were the colorful and informative textbooks that we used. What I didn’t like was the price. It was too expensive for a struggling student like myself. I was devastated when I realized I couldn’t afford the glossy, hardbound covers that are worth hundreds of dollars each. I thought spending that amount for a book that I will only use for a semester or two would be impractical.

That was more than a decade ago. Now, I am glad students have more cost effective options. They can now buy cheap college textbooks for college online. Studying to be a Nurse

My cousin is studying to become a nurse.  I think in about two years time she will be able to graduate.  Pretty soon she will be looking for nurse uniforms and supplies. There are so many nursing students here in our country.  In a period of ten years, the schools for would be nurses have doubled.  It’s not cheap to study to get a nursing degree too, that’s why their parents are really working hard just to send their kids to nursing school.

In order to continue schooling some students resort to looking for discount nursing uniform.  It’s really the practical thing to do.  Why would you have to spend much on things you can buy for less?  Do you want to know where to get the best discounts for scrubs?  It’s easy, really.  Just look for scrubs for sale online and you’ll find what you’re looking for.

College application conundrum

I promised my mom that when I went away to college I’d still help my little brother apply for colleges. I totally took the task on myself last year and my mom has no idea how to navigate all the online college applications. So I’m finding out a lot of information for my brother about all of this.

I’m constantly sending him links to online applications through my satellite wireless internet so he can get ahead of the game. I already told him that he needs to start writing essays and am encouraging him to get started on them ASAP before he really needs to start studying for classes this semester.

He even found that for a few schools he can use the same essays over again so it’s less work in the end, after all. That essay’s topic is about his favorite painting ever and he chose to write about one that our grandma painted of her childhood home, a farmhouse out in the country.

I’m helping him edit it and I think that it’s going to be great!

Being a lawyer is one of the most luxurious professions but the things that the people who dream of being one have to go through is also one of the hardest.
