Nude Shoes

I have been drooling over those nude shoes worn by different celebrities.

Everywhere I look there they are  wearing those shoes.

Here’s Victoria Beckham, Penelope Cruz, and Angelina Jolie sporting nude.

And the list goes on and on.

Check out Victoria Beckham carrying her cute baby girl, Harper. She can’t let go of her sky high nude Louboutins even though she’s carrying her baby. Be careful, Victoria. Please don’t drop Harper!

But why are they opting for this simple color?

Heels can make your legs look longer but when your nude shoes it can make it look a mile more. :)

It goes well with both plain and colorful outfits. You won’t have a hard time finding clothes that goes well with these shoes. As you can see from the picture, Victoria and Penelope are both wearing light colored dresses while Angelina is wearing a little black dress. It goes well with the three outfits with no problem. But personally, I like it looks best paired with a short black dress.

I was even planning to buy my very own pair as a gift to myself this Christmas.

But wait a minute, according to Damart UK these much favored shoes are about to say goodbye. And the reason being that winter is coming and the color nude is not practical during this season. That’s why fashionistas are opting for the gray shoes which is more appropriate for winter  and still gives that illusion of elongated legs.

So if you haven’t bought your nude shoes yet maybe you’re too late. Don’t worry grays are cute too. :)

My Not so Frugal Find

Jul 25, 2011 by

I am very excited with my hair straightener iron which I bought at Watson’s. I have been having problems with my rebonded hair. It’s straight but it’s also lifeless. I don’t know how to style it and I’m tired of seeing myself looking rather plain in pictures.
So yesterday, I finally took the plunge and bought myself one of those high end hair straighteners. The thing that made this expensive is its titanium plate. I have used the cheaper ceramic plate hair straightener so I know the difference. The high end straightener glides on my hair smoothly but the thing that I like most about it is that I can use it even if my hair is still damp.

I am a frugal person but I found out the hard way that sometimes it is not worth it being frugal. There are some things that’s worth splurging your hard earned money on like horse riding apparel at TheEquestrianCorner.com for example if you are an equestrian. As for me, these are the things that would make me feel I’m worth it even if it’s just an expensive hair straightener.
