iPad 3 in the Works

Oct 17, 2011 by

They already have a lot of hot and to-die for products out in the market but according to the rumor mill, even with the death of its founder, Apple is not slowing down and in fact preparing for the production of their next gadget – the iPad 3.

Ever since I got my husband an iPod I have been an Apple fan. Now we have a couple of Apple products that we’re using and the most dear to my heart is the iPad 2. I absolutely love how it makes my life easier. I don’t have to turn on my laptop just so I can check my mail for important correspondence. The iPad is so fast that I can last the whole day without turning on my laptop. I do my research there and send my mail from there too. I don’t know how to download videos from youtube but good thing we can watch a video of our fancy any time we want because of the iPad. It is so useful that I highly recommend it for moms like myself.

I would like to see the day when everyone can afford an iPad especially school kids. If only they have this at this disposal I’m sure they would be more encouraged to read and learn.

Blackberry Smartphone

Jul 10, 2011 by

My two year old Sony phone is already having some problems with its battery. I remember when I first bought it. I have been a Nokia user previously but became fed up with its battery problem. So when Sony came out with a nice phone with a cool camera I immediately switched. We still had no digital camera back then so we took photos using my phone. But now that we already have a camera I don’t use the phone camera anymore. So on my next phone purchase the built in camera would not be a factor anymore. What’s more important now is its connectivity. I’ve heard blackberry smartphone is the best there is. I need to continually check my email for important messages and its push email feature will be perfect for me.

Flixlab App

Jun 22, 2011 by

I have been storing our precious photos taken by our various cameras online now for a couple of years. I am glad I can look back at them and treasure the memories of the past years. The photos are really nice to look at and I am satisfied they are stored neatly by month and year it was taken. When I want to pull out a certain photograph I just remember what year it was taken and I can easily access it.

But I have one problem that until now I don’t know what to do with. Aside from the pictures we also have a number of videos that we have taken. These are as equally precious or even more so than the pictures because we can just watch it and know exactly how the events took place back then. We had videos of our eldest son’s first laugh, the time he rode his first toy car, his first trip to Star City, his first birthday party at school and so much more. I don’t know what to do with it and I need help.

Good thing I discovered Flixlab App for Iphones and Ipod Touch which lets you create  movies out of the videos and pictures you have. Yes, you heard it right. No more countless hours of editing to make a good movie. Flixlab lets you do it right on your phone on your free time with just a tap here and there. After you are done you can share your masterpiece to your friends at Facebook with just a couple more taps of your phone. If it sounds too easy it is because it really is! Checkout the Flixlab App now.

Should You Let Your Desktop Computer Go?

Feb 11, 2011 by

Because of the increasing popularity and demand for laptops, many computer analysts have been predicting that desktop computers will soon go the way of the dinosaur. But the question is: Should you really give up your desktop for a new laptop?

While it is true that laptops are now more powerful than regular desktops and there is the added benefit of portability, laptops use batteries that need to be charged for 2 hours, a rather tedious and time consuming process for people who need to use their computer right at that moment. The power drain on the batteries is even greater if you use your laptop for gaming and video editing. Many individuals have been inconvenienced by their batteries suddenly discharging while they are encoding documents or in the middle of fast and furious game play. Another disadvantage to laptops is that they are practically “all-in-one”. You have the monitor, keyboard, and hardware in just one package. If it breaks down, you would need to bring your laptop in for repair.

This is the advantage that desktop computers have over laptops. True, you can’t bring it anywhere, and you need to connect the CPU to the monitor, printer, keyboard, mouse and other extensions using a confusing network of wires. However, if any of these gets busted, you only have to bring the damaged part to the shop.

Don’t give up your desktop computer for a laptop. When it comes to performance and lower cost, the desktop remains the better deal.
