Last Day of VBS

Today is the last day of Z’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) and we’re happy we have completed it for the second year in a row. It was not easy I tell you. It’s hard commuting two and fro in this extreme heat and it’s not easy waiting for him for three hours. But I’m not complaining ever since Z’s dad told me what VBS’ impact to his life was I was determined that Z grow up the same way. That’s why I was willing to brave the early morning rush and beat the boredom. This is only Z’s second year and I hope we will be attending this every summer until he’s fifteen! :)

Z's Second Year of Vacation Bible School

We’ve been going here everyday since Monday and now the end is near. VBS is going to end tomorrow. I know it’s going to be bittersweet for Z as he was very happy attending VBS as usual. Don’t worry, Z, mommy promise to bring you to VBS every year until you’re 16! hehe

We have a lot of remembrances from this year’s VBS.  They have different arts and crafts every day plus they learn new songs and new stories everyday.  We also bought the official cute t-shirt.  Wish it could go on forever but it was good while it lasted.  We’re definitely looking forward to next year’s VBS!  Z would be six year old by then and I would have a baby in tow.  whew!

Iron Man 2

This is our second movie to watch in less than a month.  We are really catching up on watching movies at the cinema because finally Z is old enough to watch movies but at the same time in a few months I’m going to give birth to my second baby which means we won’t be able to visit cinemas again for the next couple of years. :)

Iron Man 2 is great but I wish he can do less talking and more fighting.  Why?  Because every time the characters start talking Z gets fidgety and play around in his chair which in turn makes me anxious because other people might get annoyed. hihi  Anyway, once the fighting starts Z’s eyes become wide and then that’s when he starts asking questions – LOUDLY! LOL!

New Clothes for Z

Apr 18, 2010 by

It’s about time we bought Z some new clothes. My precious one is really growing up too soon!  His clothes are getting so little so we trooped to Megamall to buy him a new set.  Oh, we spent an hour looking here and there for the right clothes.  I tell you it’s so much easier to shop for girl’s clothes.  Hubby and me were literally looking everywhere for cool boy’s clothes.  The bright side was unlike before when Z would whine when being asked to fit some clothes now he is cooperating so well.  He liked shopping for his own clothes and has some fashion sense at such a young age.  He was always asking if the clothes look good on him.   Pretty soon he’ll be shopping for his own shirts and wouldn’t need our help anymore.  Time really flies!

School is nearly Out

Mar 16, 2010 by

I said nearly out because Z still has two weeks to go before their recognition ceremony but the school work is all done and we are currently waiting for the grades to be computed. I’m so glad we survived our first year of school. I could not have done it without Bam. Something’s really got to change with my schedule. I’m praying that by June when Z starts his prep year I can spend more time with him as I should. That’s the reason why I became a stay-at-home mommy in the first place. I really got to keep my priorities straight. *sigh

Anyway, Z is showing no signs of being lazy this summer. He’s looking forward to their summer classes already. I still don’t know what classes he should take if I would enroll him in an academic or sports clinic like Taekwondo. Hmm, maybe I’ll opt for the Taekwondo or swimming so he can get the exercise he needs or maybe I’ll just enroll him on both. It will still depend on him what he will choose. Well, anything to keep Z busy as it’s not a pretty sight to have a bored growing boy cooped inside the house. I definitely hope we’ll have a fun and fulfilling summer vacation ahead.

In fairness, may talent siya sa photography marunong mag-macro. hahaha
